Learning from mistakes is overrated. What do you learn from mistakes? You might learn what not to do again , but you still don't know what should do next.

Planning is guessing. Plans let the past drive the future. They put blinders on you (this is where we're going because, well, that's where we said we were going). Sometimes we need to say we're going in a new direction because that's what make sense today

Why Grow? What's wrong with finding the right size and staying there? Small is a great destination in itself. Expenses are not things that happen to you.
Embrace the idea of having less mass. The more massive is an object, the more energy is required to change its direction. Huge organizations can take years to pivot.
They talk instead of act. They meet instead of do.
Do it yourself first. Never hire anyone to do a job until you've tried to do it yourself first. Hire when it hurts
[You keep small] you can make mistakes and fix them quickly - Embrace constraints and box yourself

Focus on what won't change. Amazon focuses on fast (or free) shipping, great selection, friendly return policies and affordable prices. These things will always be in high demand.

Illusions of agreement. Do everything you can to remove layers of abstraction. [Abstractions like reports and documents] create illusions of agreement. A hundred people can read the same words, but in their heads, they're imagining a hundred different things. Get the chisel out and start making something real.

What you do is what matters, not what you think or say or plan. The real question is how well you execute.
No time is no excuse.
When you want something bad enough, you make the time. The truth is most people just don't want it bad enough and then they protect their ego with the excuse of time.

Reasons to quit [doing something]. Ask yourself if you're doing work that matters. What could you be doing instead? What can't you do because you're doing this?
O como leí no sé dónde no hace mucho: Cuando eliges hacer algo concreto estás también eligiendo no hacer otras cosas

Underdo your competition
. Do a few single things and do them well
Decommoditize your product. Make you part of your product or service. Make it something no one else can offer.
Me suena bastante. Difícil para la consultoría industrial

Good enough is fine. Problems are negotiable

Quick Wins. The longer someting takes, the less likely it is that you're going to finish it.
Everybody works. With a small team, you need people who are going to do work, not delegate work. [Delegators] are people that when they run out to work to assign, they make up more-regardless of wether it needs to be done.
Hire managers of one. People that come up with their own goals and execute them. Hire for attitude, train for skill

Build an audience. Speak, write, blog, tweet. make videos. Share information that's valuable and you'll slowly but surely build a loyal audience.
You can afford to teach [and share]. Big companies are obsessed with secrecy. Emulate drug dealers. Don't be afraid to give a little away for free

Hire great writers. Clear writing is a sign of clear thinking

Inspiration is a NOW thing. If it grabs you, grab it right back and put it to work. Inspiration is a productivity multiplier

Y a ti, ¿te sugiere alguna reflexión?...
